Matteo Politano has zero intention of leaving Inter in the the upcoming January transfer window despite reports in the media suggesting he could be moved on according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

It has been suggested by some media outlets that Inter could look to use Politano as part of a deal to help them land another player in January but the 26-year-old does not wish to leave the club.

Antonio Conte’s arrival has punished Politano who is now no longer able to play in his preferred role as a winger and as a result, Politano’s playing time has suffered with him being limited to just 284 minutes on the park, spread across 14 appearances in all competitions.

The form of both Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku has not helped him in terms of game time either and competition for places will only increase upon Alexis Sanchez’s return but Politano remains convinced of his means and that he can carve out a space for himself in the team.
