Queen Elizabeth is not about to miss her weekly audience with the Prime Minister—a standing meeting that she's dutifully attended throughout her decades-long reign—because of a little inconvenience like government-mandated social distancing.

The conversation with Boris Johnson took place as planned, just over the phone. And lest you doubt officials' word on the matter, the royals provided photographic evidence of the event.

The royal family's latest Instagram post features a side-by-side of the Queen and Johnson on the phone—the Queen at Windsor Castle, surrounded by a menagerie of precious corgi figurines, and Johnson presumably at No. 10.

"The Queen held her weekly Audience with the Prime Minister today by telephone. Her Majesty - pictured this evening at Windsor Castle - has held a weekly Audience with her Prime Minister throughout her reign," the caption read.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the Queen was planning to keep in touch with her family via video chat, as she's currently following the UK's instructions to minimize contact with others amid the coronavirus pandemic. However, the Telegraph noted that aides are still figuring out what technology they can use, given the royals' heightened need for cybersecuirty.

As soon as that's settled, she'll likely want to video call with her son and heir. Prince Charles has tested positive for COVID-19, though only experiencing minor symptoms at the moment. (Thankfully the Queen, who last saw him on March 12, "remains in good health," per Buckingham Palace.)
