In both of the videos I was honestly worried that they would run away.. Ferrets are really good at digging, but at least in second video the snow wasn't that deep.. However there was awfully many of them to watch after.
But in the first video the owner legit lost the track of it for a moment.
I’ve had a few ferrets and you’d be surprised but they are good at coming back to you/ following you when they play outside. I used to let them play in abandoned gopher holes, they’d pop out twenty feet away and come scampering back.
They are often kept as a hunting animal, to drive out rabbits and rodents from their burrows.
Only time you really have trouble getting them out is when they get hold of something inside.
I had a ferret that was a bit of an escape artist. He’d find a way out but he’d always come back a day or two later after an adventure. His sister would just sit in the cage and wait for him even though she could easily get out too.
So many ferrets!

I've only had one ferret while living in Texas, and this is exactly what I would expect out of him if snow would have occurred.
I’m still thrown off that last time I flew into San Antonio it was snowing. It was hilarious there was like no transport because no one there knows how to drive in snow. Some guys coming back from a snowboarding trip busted out there gear and were sliding around the parking lot on their boards.
It's not so much snow. We usually get ice. And it turns black real quick. So we just shut down for a day. It usually melts in about 12 hours anyway
