It's official: Michelle Obama is the most-admired woman in the world for 2019.
According to a new study conducted by YouGov, looking at which high-profile figures the public most admire, the former first lady came out on top, surpassing 2018's winner Angelina Jolie.
Obama was closely followed by Oprah Winfrey, while Jolie slid into third place. The Queen was crowned fourth most-admired woman, followed by Emma Watson as fifth.
Michelle's husband, former President Barack Obama, also proved popular, coming second in the list of most-admired men. Top of the male list was Bill Gates for the second year in a row.
A total of 42,000 people took part in the poll across 41 different countries.
