Game Thread 6/12: Rockies at Phillies

I’m not entirely sure if I should be scared of the Rockies coming to town. I mean, I’m scared of any team that’s even close to the Phillies’ talent level coming to town, so of course I’m scared. But the Rockies are sitting a game under .500 right now, and the Phillies have managed to keep their head above water.

Whether they’ll continue to do that remains to be seen, of course, but it’s a brand new series after a much needed off day. I can’t wait to open the bag of presents/horrors the next three games delivers on our doorstep.

In other news...

Can’t wear the wrong color helmet! This whole thing is weird-slash-adorable.

Honestly, all of Rhys Hoskins’ pictures should feature him wearing that helmet. I love it so much. He looks so protected, yet also like Marvin the Martian. It’s the greatest.
