When Stephen Curry has free time away from the court, he enjoys hitting the links.

Now, he is reportedly trying to take his love for golf one step further.

According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, Curry's Octagon representatives are in talks with the PGA Tour that could allow the Golden State Warriors superstar to host an event next fall. Nothing is official, but Rovell reported the sides are working on "finalizing" a deal.

"There's no doubt Stephen Curry brings a young, new, diverse audience to the PGA Tour through his passion for this great game and support for the community," PGA Tour spokeswoman Laura Neal said, per Rovell. "We're excited about the prospect of partnering with an iconic athlete of his caliber in the future."

Rovell also noted all proceeds would go to the Curry Family Foundation.

Curry has made no secret that he enjoys spending time playing another sport. In fact, his Instagram page features plenty of golf posts. Of course, his most notable golfing experience came when he played with Jordan Spieth and former President Barack Obama. Not to mention the fact that he's had the privilege of playing at Augusta National.

Last year, Curry played at the Ellie Mae Classic, finishing 11 shots above the cut line.
