Lagos ports to receive 20 ships loaded with petroleum products, food items

Twenty ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports in Lagos from May 22 to May 27.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication, `Shipping Position,’ a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos.

A total of seven of the expected 20 ships would sail in with petrol.

NPA said the remaining 13 ships contained buckwheat, fertiliser, base oil, frozen fish, salt, empty containers and containers laden with goods.

The document indicated that 13 ships had arrived the ports waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, container, buckwheat and petrol.
