Capcom and iam8bit are re-releasing two Mega Man classics, Mega Man 2 and Mega Man X, in physical form. Both games will get 30th Anniversary Classic Cartridge releases later this year.

The cartridges — Mega Man 2 for the NES and Mega Man X for the Super NES — are limited to 8,500 copies each. Each comes with a $100 price tag and will include deluxe packaging and “premium” instruction booklets. Each cartridge “houses the original game code on a brand new PCB board and are fully playable on NTSC consoles,” according to a release from Capcom and iam8bit.

The Mega Man 2 and Mega Man X 30th Anniversary Classic Cartridge will come in two colors, a standard opaque version and a smaller batch (1,000 of each) of translucent, glow-in-the-dark blue. Cartridges will be “randomly inserted into sealed, unmarked boxes,” so what’s inside will be a surprise.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of what’s included with each cartridge.

Capcom did something similar last year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Street Fighter 2 and iam8bit quickly sold out of those newly manufactured SNES carts. The cartridges are clearly aimed at hardcore fans and collectors, as the games are much cheaper to purchase digitally and physically in Capcom’s Mega Man Legacy Collections. (Both collections are coming to Nintendo Switch soon.)

The Mega Man 2 and Mega Man X 30th Anniversary Classic Cartridges are expected to ship in late September. Both are available to pre-order from iam8bit’s online store.
