Neymar: PSG star could sign for Real Madrid instead of Manchester United this summer

Real Madrid want to sign PSG star Neymar when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.

The Brazil international only moved to the Ligue 1 giants last summer from Barcelona.

However, Neymar is supposedly already hellbent on leaving PSG having been disappointed by the standard of football in France.

Ronaldo, meanwhile, has seen Real’s need for Neymar lessen by rediscovering his best form in 2018.

The 33-year-old, who has been heavily linked with a stunning return to Manchester United, has found the net 25 times this year so far.

Yet Spanish website Don Balon say Ronaldo may leave Madrid if they capture Neymar.

And that is because he is disappointed at the behaviour of the Brazil international.

Neymar has supposedly been telling Real’s Brazilian contingent he is keen to leave the Parc des Princes this summer.

Despite United being in the mix for his signature, Neymar is said to be eager to join Real Madrid.

But Don Balon say Ronaldo will leave if the PSG star signs.

It is said he is unwilling to share the spotlight with a player as spoiled as Neymar, who has been overindulged at PSG.

That could, consequently, pave the way for a stunning United return.

The Red Devils may overhaul their squad this summer with Anthony Martial the likeliest attacking casualty.

Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Marcus Rashford are all set to remain despite the latter emerging as a potential target for Arsenal.

Express Sport understands United chief Ed Woodward has long dreamed of delivering Ronaldo to the club;s shareholders at the New York Stock Exchange.

But whether Real sign Neymar, and United land Ronaldo, remains to be seen.
