Model claims Miami hotspot told her no ‘fatties’ allowed

A plus-size model says a Miami hotspot tried to ban larger women from partying — telling her no “fatties” were allowed inside.

Naomie Chaput, who is also known as Nao, took to social media about the humiliating incident Thursday night involving the South Beach’s Story Nightclub.

Chaput said she was headed to meet a promoter at the nightspot, where the rapper Future was set to perform.

But while en route with a pal, Chaput was told not to turn around, according to Buzzfeed News.

“She was on her way there and they were in contact with the promoter who had arranged for them to go to the club,” her publicist, Daniel Bouabdo, told BuzzFeed. He claimed promoter told his client, “Don’t even bother coming. Future asked for no fatties.”

Chaput was quick to take to Instagram to rail against the club’s discrimination using the hashtag #everyBodyclubs.

“Just got news that this is true that Future said ‘No fatties in the club’ and he has all the rights to do so in Miami,” she said in an Instagram story. “This is just a regular club so I’m just trying to understand really why this is a thing. Why is he allowed to put those rules in place? The discrimination is insane to me.”

For his part, Future denied on Twitter he instructed the club to discriminate against plus-size women.

“STOP CAPPIN ON MY NAME.. I love all women,” the artist tweeted.

The model reportedly reached out to Future and he claimed Story Nightclub was at fault for the body-shaming incident, according to BuzzFeed News.
