The Philadelphia 76ers got an extra boost before Game 5 against the Miami Heat on Tuesday when Meek Mill rang the ceremonial Liberty Bell to kick off the game.

The rapper was released from prison earlier in the day after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned his conviction, per TMZ Sports. Sixers co-owner Michael Rubin was there to greet him upon his release and was called a "good friend" in Meek's statement thanking people for the support.

In his first Instagram post following his release, Meek wrote, "Let's go Sixers."

He went straight to the Wells Fargo Center and greeted the players in the locker room before the game, as the team's account showed:

The 76ers entered Game 5 with a 3-1 series lead over the Heat.
