The Foreign Ministers of Britain, France, Germany and Italy had talks today over the recent row between the United States and Iran.

Earlier on Sunday, Germany, Britain, and France released a collective statement admonishing Iran to not further batter or hinder peace by their decision to not abide by the limit in the 2015 nuclear deal.

However, Iran remains rooted in reneging on the Nuclear Deal and has also stated that it is opened to talk about the nuclear program with its European partners. Israel which is known to be a long-time enemy of Iran said they won’t ever allow Iran to produce an atomic bomb.

The killing of Iranian Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani has deepened the bad blood between Washington and Tehran. The republic of Iran swore to go all out till harsh revenge is taken on the United State. In response, Donald Trump took to his twitter to tell Iran that the United State will also hit back very fast and very hard.

He furthered stated his displeasure about Iran feels it’s okay to kill their Citizens of the United State, to blow up and torture the citizens of the U.S but doesn’t want the U.S to touch their cultural sites. The President affirmed that it’s illogical and it doesn’t work fine. As it is, the Americans are at risk of drone attacks and even missiles as the embassy of the U.S in Saudi Arabia warns.

On the streets of Mashhad and Ahvaz, red Shiite flags were raised. This symbolizes the mourning of Soleimani and also cry for his revenge. It is said that Solieman’s funeral has to be the most crowded funeral celebration of all time in Iran.

When likened to the funeral of the man who founded the Islamic Republic Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, Khomeini’s funeral was no match. Tehran’s famed Musalla mosque will be the final resting place of Soleimani.

The emergency meeting will also broach on the situation in Libya over Khalifa Haftar’s forces have taken over the coastal city of Sirte.
