WWE is not doing Mike Kanellis wrong, according to Mike Kanellis

When Mike and Maria Kanellis showed up in WWE, there seemed to be great potential for the duo who were pushing the power of love. They were given an incredible theme song and seemed to be in line for, at the very least, a mid-card spot on SmackDown Live. Then she got pregnant and he just sort of disappeared in the background, hardly ever used on television.

A couple weeks ago, he was moved to Monday Night Raw in the Superstar Shakeup and immediately started working the Main Event tapings. In the 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble he was eliminated in three seconds.

A fan watching may think WWE is doing him wrong, and plenty have taken to social media to voice as much. Kanellis himself tried to help give these folks some perspective:

Hard to argue with him here. It’s all too easy for fans to forget it’s a marathon, not a sprint.
