Bought my Kanger Subtank many years ago and its still the tank I use everyday. Tried many others but I have not found them to be to my liking.

Can anyone suggest a similar type tank close to the Subtank? Looking for stock coils .5ohm.

Thanks

Is that the 30-50w -ish range? Big capacity tank too yes? You'd need to order from China now to get something with that kind of capacity.

Try something that uses vaporesso euc coils... this can include several Atlantis compatible tanks if you buy the euc coils with an Atlantis coil adapter included.

the first ever subtank released which i bought a couple of weeks after i gave up 4 years ago and still going strong.
an alternative though, hmm im stumped. i have got 45 tanks now but they are full blown subtanks and cant be compared to the classic subtank mini.
the next tank i bought after the kanger was the triton 2 which is a great tank but i think the 1.8 coils are hard to get now but the 0.5 are still out there. the tank will have to be sought in china though as thanks to tpd they sadly dissapeared from the uk market.

I still have no troubles buying the coils for my subtank.i mainly use the claptons.
Similar vape is the eleaf Melo 2 (another old tank ) takes eleaf ec coils and Atlantis Evo coils still has the best top fill system I've used. Melo 3 is also good, takes the same coils as well and easier to find these days but the top fill isn't as good

Also the kanger pro tank 4 , takes the same coils as subtank with a top fill similar to the Melo 2.

Not the best for flavour by any means but for good reliable , leak free tanks that don't drain juice like it's going out of fashion can't go wrong with any of the above

Like has been said though for any of them you'll be ordering from China these days

get an old isub g from china and some of the new mesh coils
its a v nice combo

Or if you want a more 'current' look, there's the new Isub-B. Same coils, different aesthetic :)

If you still like the subtank and it still satisfies your needs, may I ask why you want to change to something else? Is your tank old and worn out or it just time for a change?

The reason I ask is I may have a near new subtank or toptank laying around somewhere. If yours is just old and needs replacing you would be welcome to mine free of charge. But if you just want a change then that's a different animal.

Hi steve,

There isn't really an alternative to the subtank in the conventional way. the way coils have moved on since then means there won't be anything modern that is really comparable. However, i can suggest a couple to go and check out that will serve you well.

Aspire Clieto
Horizontech Falcon (M1 coils)

The Cleito is an older tank now, around 3 years since it was launched but it was a fantastic tank. It will vape around 55w and give good flavour etc without blowing massive clouds.

The falcon is probably the best mesh coil tank on the market for lower powered vaping. So what you will get with the M1 coil is a lower powered vape with amazing flavour and long coil life depending on liquids used. However i can take a guess that what you used in the subtank will be ideal for the falcon.

Both of these are cheap now due to successors but it still makes them both very good tanks.
