Ryan Adams Says His Marriage to Mandy Moore Fell Apart Because She Doesn’t Like the Melvins

Would you break up with someone because they didn’t like the same shit as you? Obviously, common interests are important, but, I mean, you can like different things and still be a couple. At least up to a point, right?

I ask because noted non-metal-musician-metalhead Ryan Adams recently suggested that his marriage to Mandy Moore failed because she didn’t like the Melvins and the movie Blade Runner:
