ReplyDeleteA word is enough oh, my ex was a yahoo boy and I know the things I saw with my eyes, and how he was using my star to join his to get more money, how they did it I don't know, but i was stupid in love that he said my family was evil, he said I must not have sex with anyone blah blah dt it will affect him, but the bastard was collecting outside, hmm i even carried calabash at night and inside the middle of the stream claiming that i have spiritual husband and i needed to do that to stop it, so many shit, so many yahoo secrets i knew, but God saved me, brought me out of darkness ah oluwaseun oh ah Stella it not something to remember. giving me lies that I had spiritual mates shit..... I went to a church program and was told all ds and many more, I was delivered, pastor said don't break up with him just yet by himself he will, and to my surprise he did no tangible reason oh......... I always tell young girls around me that there is nothing a woman cannot achieve for her self. life is in stages and you will get there. growing up my mum will ask you about anything she felt was expensive. where did you get the money? did you save for it etc.. Now I own so many things now that I could not afford in my younger days. as an undergraduate then and even after school it was just me and my boyfriend just were managing life together and having fun within our budgets. today I am married with 2 kids, have 2 cars (one bought with my money and the other by hubby), a house in Abuja bought on mortgage with solely my money, I earn about a million monthly which is a far cry from the miserable salary of those days. my complexion is better now cos I can afford better crème n so much more. am in my late 40s so I have paid my dues. but today I see a young girl just fresh from school whose parents are just there buying hair extensions of 70k n all...why? how much is your salary? what income do u get in monthly? life is in phases and you just have to let God increase you. yes if you are young and earning well by all means have fun within your income but too many young people just want to have the good things of life at all cost..as for the boys let all parents do their best to teach them right so they don't get carried away by peer pressure and desire to get rich quick

You think all the females used are being materialistic? What about the ones that were kidnapped by the driver of the they taxi boarded? What about the ones that thought they were going to hang out with some old friends who eventually used them for rituals? The list is endless. DeleteThe main problem to be addressed here is the rise in unemployment. The Nigerian economy has become unfavorable. Many young males have also become lazy with fruitful work, there is little encouragement for the Nigerian youths, ttuth be told not every one can get a white collar job or have capital to run a business.
All this is not an excuse,in my opinion there need to be a reformation/rehabilitation for mostly Nigerian young males if they are looking to solve this problem.

Even though most of us didn't believe it, we appreciated the gesture. And this was for something we had absolutely no control over, unlike the yahoo situation where girls knowingly date and chase after these guys. If men could be warned to be careful of unknown criminals, what exactly is the problem cautioning women to be careful frolicking with very known dangerous criminals? Is it not common sense?
