Former Inter striker Hernan Crespo believes that while Juventus are favourites for this Friday’s Derby D’Italia clash with the Nerazzurri, Inter are more than capable of causing them problems at the Allianz Stadium.
“Like it or not, Juventus start as favourites for this match. Inter are crazy though, anything could happen, they have shown that in several matches this year by winning them at the end. In a one-off game, the Nerazzurri can hurt the Bianconeri,” Crespo said in an interview with Inter TV.
Crespo, who made 116 appearances for Inter and scored 45 goals, then spoke on Inter’s upcoming final Champions League group stage match at home to PSV Eindhoven where they will be looking to qualify for the knockout stage.
“The game is crucial for 1,000 reasons, not just for qualification. With a very complicated group, and many years of absence, it would mean so much for Inter if they were to qualify.”
