SEDUCE to re-issue debut album on red and green vinyl via Rouge Records

Rouge Records a division of Prudential Music Group is proud to announce we are reissuing the legendary 1985 debut record from Detroit’s own SEDUCE!! This release will be available on limited collectors edition Red and Green vinyl on May 19th 2018 at the Seduce Record Re-release party held at Harpo’s Concert Theatre!!

Seduce is a heavy metal/power metal trio formed in Detroit whose current members have been performing together since the early 1980s. Seduce consists of singer and bassist Mark Andrews, guitar player David Black and drummer Chuck Burns. Their unique sound integrates the weightiness and authenticity of classic rock, unabashed brassiness of glam, danger of Detroit grit, and the ferocity of power metal. With influences ranging from Van Halen to Motorhead, Led Zeppelin to New York Dolls, Seduce emanates an unrelenting energy both in their onstage presence and their longevity as a group. In 1985 Seduce released their self-titled first album and a year later signed on with I.R.S. Records. They released their second album “Too Much Ain’t Enough” on IRS in 1988, after which they toured with the Vinnie Vincent Invasion and Iggy Pop. In addition to touring the Northeast in the 1980’s Seduce opened for world-renowned rock and metal acts when they stopped in Detroit, like Accept and Judas Priest. They are also known for their appearance in Penelope Spheeris’ seminal film The Decline and Fall of Western Civilization, Part II, and they were the only band not based in Los Angeles to be featured in the documentary. Seduce still performs routinely in the Detroit area to crowds of devoted, long-time fans who eagerly anticipate each show. Seduce had their most recent concert in November 2016 at the Token Lounge in Westland, MI.
