FA Cup second-round draw: Guiseley face Fleetwood, Rochdale meet Portsmouth

National League North side Guiseley have been paired with League One team Fleetwood Town in the second round of the FA Cup.

Guiseley beat League Two side Cambridge 4-3 in the first round.

Elsewhere, Rochdale host League One leaders Portsmouth, who won the competition in 2008.

National League leaders Wrexham will host League Two side Newport County, while Solihull Moors of the National League face League One team Blackpool.

The ties will take place on the weekend of 30 November-2 December.

    I hope non league clubs are selected for TV instead of the “big 2”. Finance is crucial to smaller clubs who don’t get 18,000 to 25,000 for home games

    Some ridiculous comments already I see. Not point in arguing with them but anyone who has missed the 7 FA cup rounds already has missed the best of it. Anyone who watches from the start will see that the magic of the FA cup is very much alive, and won't be spoiled by premier league teams putting out reserve teams.

    Who cares you ask? The fans of smaller clubs who look forward to playing clubs higher up the leagues. Other general football fans also find the cup interesting. So ignorant

    Contrary to popular belief there is a whole world of clubs outside the Premier League. To those clubs and their fans the FA Cup still matters. In these times when it is all about money at the top it's great to see the early stages of the cup.

    re: 16 Potato. Just be honest - you're just another of these super excitable "footie" fans who thinks that a Sky subscription and shouting at a TV down your local means that you are a "real fan" and that the likes of Tim Lovejoy really was a proper fan.

    Is it such an issue if come the 3rd round the PL teams field a weakened team against lower level opposition. Surely if gives the lower team a better chance if progressing with an upset. I'll bet that the Wigan players never forget their time in the limelight last year. That's the real magic of the FA Cup

    the magic of winning the fa cup for the big teams went away years ago due to champions league & premier league bring back 3 o clock kickoffs for the final & the build up started at around 11 o clock great memories,great times

    Early rounds of FA Cup are interesting for followers of.non.league football. Great coverage by beeb particularly red button matches and broadcasts from small clubs.

    You can so tell from these comments who are the true football fans and those glory boy armchair ignoramuses. I shall let you work out who though its quite obvious. For me the fa cup stops getting interesting about round 6 when there is just mostly big clubs left. Last cup final i saw was portsmouth v cardiff.
