Pulsus Group CEO Gedela Srinubabu has been chosen for his pro-farmer outlook, say sources.

Jana Sena Party (JSP) is understood to have released its first list of 32 MLA candidates and four names for the Lok Sabha constituencies.

Among the four MP candidates, Gedela Srinubabu, CEO and Managing Director of Pulsus Group, might be contesting from the Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha seat.

Earlier, two names were prominently featuring for the Visakhaptnam MP seat —Bolisetti Satyanarayana and Gedela Srinubabu—and finally, the latter appear to have been selected.

It is learnt that Mr. Bolisetti Satyanarayana might be told to contest for the Assembly seat from either Visakhapatnam (East) or Pendurthi.

Sources in the party said that the decision for allotment of tickets had been taken by the party founder Pawan Kalyan and the actor-turned politician had zeroed down on Mr. Srinubabu for his pro-farmer outlook, he being on the young and a successful start-up entrepreneur.

On the other hand, Mr. Pawan wants a senior man such as Mr. Bolisetti Satyanarayana to assist him in the Assembly, if voted to power.

In the fray

It is learnt that the others whose names have been released for the MP seats are Akula Satyanarayana, Chintala Pardhasaradhi and Marisetti Raghavaiah.

The prominent names featuring for the Assembly seats include Nadendla Manohar (Tennali), Ravela Kishore Babu (Prathipadu), A. Bulli Abbayi (Kakinada-rural), P. Balaraju (Paderu) and Raja Ashok Babu (Tuni).
