The pre-wedding celebrations being hosted by families of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, who will wed at a lavish ceremony in Mumbai, began here on Saturday with a host of celebrities and dignitaries landing in the City of Lakes.

The stage is set in the picturesque backdrop of the Oberoi Udaivilas Palace for her performance. Beyonce also reportedly did a sound check and preview performance in the noon. Some reports also hinted at performances by Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar being part of the weekend celebrations in Udaipur.
Dozens of chartered planes flew into the desert city with celebrities including former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton. Security was beefed up as the high-profile guests started arriving at the airport.
