American Airlines Customers Gain More Access To Mexico, The Caribbean And Latin America With Six New Routes
American Airlines will add six new routes throughout Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America, further strengthening its position in these key markets. Well, according to the story, they aren't, at least right now. With 3 Hubs on top of MIA at CLT then both LGA and JFK, that is where the realignment for anything direct is going to have to come from. That whole market up there is suffering, what with all DAL going thru ATL and JBL going thru Florida, for a good dose of non-stop. I say that if the O&D is there to support it, fly it.
I'd love to see them take the fight to Delta and jetBlue again in the New York market to the Caribbean!!!
