Police have reopened a gate area in Terminal E at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport after they cleared what was deemed a "suspicious" bag.
The incident began at about 5 p.m. Thursday near gates 32 through 35, which serve Spirit Airlines and US Airways.
Airport public safety personnel investigated the bag, which was found on an airline baggage cart outside the building and determined it didn't pose a threat.
Further details on what was found inside the bag were not released.
One flight was delayed by about five minutes, the airport spokesman said.
