Say hello again to this Evotech Stage 2 M6, packing 800 HP and not afraid to use them against a lesser opponent. In this case, a 550 HP Custom Stage 2 BMW M4.

It’s hard to watch this video without realizing just how quick that M4 is, despite being down on power by 250 horses. The M6 didn’t even manage to put a whole second between itself and the less powerful M4, neither at the 1/4 mile marker, nor the 1 km marker.

Also, it seems like the M4 had some wheelspin issues as the green lights flashed, so maybe this race could have been even closer than the numbers suggest. Speaking of numbers, the 800 HP M6 needed 11.776 seconds to cover a 1/4 mile, whereas the M4 took just 0.196 seconds. That’s nearly insignificant!

Once they reached higher speeds, the M6 obviously used its extra power to build a slightly larger gap – yet still couldn’t cross the finish line more than half a second quicker than the M4.

In fact, the difference was just under half a second at 0.420 seconds, and again, that’s nothing to write home about if you’re behind the wheel of that M6.
