Satin Black Wheels Are Ideal For The Dark Lord Of The Nordschleife

It’s been a while since we’ve seen HRE Classic 300 wheels on a Porsche 911, which is why it’s hard to stop drooling over this black GT3 RS.

If you were asked to make a shortlist of cars to ride off into the sunset with and live happily ever after, odds are you’re saving a spot especially for the ruler of the Green Hell and one of only a handful of cars that can make you feel as if you’re bionically connected to the road.

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a track-oriented €180,000 missile, with a 500 PS (368 kW) engine and a 3.3 second sprint time from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph). It’s quick, there’s no denying that. But as you know, the big selling point for this car is the fact that it’s quick in the corners and not just in a straight line.

Though if brute performance is one of your requirements, you should do fine in the GT3 RS, where if you don’t ease of the throttle, you will eventually hit 310 km/h (192 mph).

So what’s special about this one you ask? Well, first of all the fact that it’s black makes it stand out by…not standing out. The GT3 RS is usually very easy to spot because most of them are brightly colored and have obvious contrasts created between the air vents and the rest of the body.

This one, however, is all black, and to me, that’s a very tasteful thing to do to a 911 that is generally a “look at me” type of car.

The custom wheels are black as well (Satin Black) and they’re called the Classic 300, made by HRE. We saw these wheels a while back on two brightly colored GT3s, though as cool as they were, they still have ways to go until they can look this GT3 RS in the headlights.
