Lean in 19 Review – Right For You?

Lean in 19 is a new dietary program that promises to help you lose up to 17 pounds over a 19 day period. Here’s our review.

What is Lean in 19?

Lean in 19 is a diet program created by a guy named Gavin Walsh. Gavin claims he “stumbled upon a unique discovery called the Hot Zone Formula”. He used this formula to help his 31 year old sister transform her body – and now he wants to help you do the same.

The Hot Zone Formula is specifically targeted to men and women over age 30. Why? Well, the book argues that traditional diet and exercise routines “don’t work for men and women over 30…they only make your belly fatter.”

If you’ve struggled to lose weight with conventional dietary techniques, then Lean in 19 may be the program you need to help lose weight.

So how exactly does Lean in 19 plan to help you lose weight? Let’s take a closer look.

How Does Lean in 19 Work?

Lean in 19 relies on a concept called the Hot Zone Formula. This formula is based on the idea that we all have a “hot zone” that makes weight loss effortless. By switching on this hot zone, you can rapidly lose weight more easily than ever before – especially the stubborn fat around your belly.

Gavin argues that traditional diet and exercise routines block your hot zone, which means they increase your belly fat and cause your body to enter something known as “metabolic ice-age” that slowly causes weight gain year after year.

With that in mind, Lean in 19 promises to activate your hot zone using a three step sequence:

Step 1) Switch off the deep freeze: If you’re like many people, then your metabolism has been in an “icy slumber” for years. The first step of Lean in 19 is to wake up your body.

Step 2) Turn up the heat: This step involves boosting your metabolism for faster fat loss by switching on your “Hot Zone Hormones”.

Step 3) Activate your hot zone: This final step involves releasing all excess fat from your body by continuing to activate the metabolic hot zone.

Over the course of 19 days, Gavin will teach you how to go through these three phases to ultimately lose up to 17 pounds in 19 days (although Gavin reminds you that this amount of weight loss isn’t typical).

Who Wrote Lean in 19?

Lean in 19 was created by a guy named Gavin Walsh. Gavin claims that over the last 15 years, he has helped thousands of men and women transform their flabby bodies into lean muscle.

He claims that he has written articles for publications like Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, Cosmopolitan, and Women’s Health.

A quick Google Search shows that Gavin Walsh does seem to be a legitimate personal trainer. His personal website, WalshTheFatAway.com, describes how he started his career in London, England after completing a degree in Sports Science and has worked in the fitness industry ever since.

Lean in 19 isn’t the first eBook Gavin has produced. He has also written and produced training programs like Lean Bells for Maximum Fitness & Fat Loss (a collection of kettlebell workouts) and 4 Minute Fat Burners (another dietary guide).

Should You Use Lean in 19 to Lose Weight?

There’s a lot to like about Lean in 19. First, the program makes big promises about its weight loss results. It’s also made by Gavin Walsh, who is a real personal trainer working out of the UK. Lean in 19 also comes with dozens of customer testimonials from people who have lost significant amounts of weight through the program.

However, scientific evidence supporting the program is lacking. The diet does not appear to have ever gone through any clinical trials, and Lean in 19 never cites any evidence or studies showing that the diet works.

Another problem is that the vast majority of people who download Lean in 19 will lose 0 pounds of weight. Gavin himself mentions this in a disclaimer, saying,

“The truth: most people are lazy and do nothing with the products they buy. So most of the time, their typical results are zero.”

So if you were attracted to the program based on the idea that you can lose 17 pounds in 19 days, then please note that it will take a lot of hard work – including strict dieting and exercising – to get anywhere near that number with Lean in 19.
