Since Fox is reviving the X-Files in 2016, maybe they should consider putting Mulder and Scully on this extremely bizarre traffic occurrence.
This incident took place last week in Orange County, CA, and shows a woman driving an old Hyundai Sonata, weaving a bit before riding the brakes to a sudden halt and exiting the car with the transmission since in ‘Drive’.
As she jumps out of the car and the Hyundai begins to roll away, she just fixes her cardigan and starts walking away calmly as if she didn’t just generate a potentially lethal situation. Maybe she didn’t realize that the car could end up crashing into incoming traffic (which is exactly what happened), or maybe she just didn’t care because…narcotics!
Either way, at this point we can just speculate as to why she did it. We obviously can’t help but be harsh, especially since none of the more obvious reasons are particularly flattering.
If you want to use a little humor, we can just assume she had enough of that Sonata, or maybe she found that she had spiders or a snake in the car and just bailed.
Luckily the accident itself looked pretty minor as the two SUVs that were involved (CR-V & Navigator) didn’t sustain any significant mechanical injuries.
