Encante Anti-Aging Serum is a topical cream that promises to reduce the visible effects of aging on your skin. Using synthetic formulas and botanicals, the cream claims to “make lines & wrinkles vanish” in a more effective way than Botox injections.
The serum is gathering some attention online for its free trial offer, which sends you a full-sized bottle of the serum in exchange for a $5 shipping fee. However, as you’ll learn in our “Pricing” section below, there’s an enormous catch to this trial that can leave you with hundreds of dollars of credit card charges.
The cream is priced at $98.71 per each small bottle, making it one of the most expensive anti-aging serums on the market today.

How Does Encante Work?
Encante makes some bold claims about its benefits and effects. It claims to be better than Botox, for example, at making you look younger.
Botox, for those who don’t know, is a toxin that freezes your skin in place to prevent the further formation of lines and wrinkles.
So how does Encante replicate these effects?
Like many overpriced skin serums sold online today, Encante claims to rely on Biofil sphere technology. These Biofil spheres are made from natural wheat protein, which allows for a sustained release of nutrients after the molecule penetrates your skin. Deeper penetration means more noticeable effects.
This technology promises to provide the following effects:
— Diminishes Wrinkles
— Dramatic Skin Repair
— Smoothens Skin
— Counters The Effects Of Stress On Your Skin
The manufacturer of Encante also makes numerous claims about its “advanced formula” which promises to keep your skin “healthy, moist, and hydrated”.
Beyond this basic information, the manufacturer of Encante provides no information about how the cream works, what its effects may be, or even what any of the ingredients inside the formula are. We literally don’t know a single one of the ingredients in the cream – so you could be spreading some poisonous mushroom toxin into your skin, for all we know.
Encante Ingredients
As mentioned above, the manufacturer of Encante has refused to disclose its full list of ingredients.
That’s an odd choice for a skin cream manufacturer. Typically, reputable manufacturers like to advertise their full list of ingredients because they’re proud of the ingredients.
The fact that Encante hasn’t listed any of its ingredients is worrying. It means you’re spreading some mysterious formula onto your skin and letting those ingredients seep into your bloodstream.
If you trust a no-name internet skin care product manufacturer to include the right ingredients at safe dosages, then there’s nothing wrong with this.
If you have half a brain, however, then you’ll realize that the ingredients in Encante are likely not as beneficial as they claim to be.
Encante Pricing
If alarms weren’t already going off in your head while reading this Encante review, then they will once you realize the skin serum’s near-fraudulent pricing policy.
Encante claims you can get the cream through a free trial program. However, that free trial program isn’t free and will charge your credit card over $200 in hidden charges within the first 30 days after you order. Here are the details:
— You order the trial today and pay $5.95 for shipping and handling today
— Within 3 to 5 days, you’ll receive a full-sized bottle of Encante in your mailbox. You have 14 days (from the date you ordered the trial, not the date you received it) to try the product and decide whether you like it.
— If you don’t return the product within that 14 day period and request a refund, then the manufacturer of Encante will assume you liked the product so much that they’ll automatically charge you the full price of $98.71.
— That first $98.71 charge only covers the bottle you’ve already received. That’s the so-called “free trial” bottle.
— 14 days later (about 30 days after you first ordered the trial), you’ll be charged $98.71 again and receive another full-sized bottle of Encante in the mail
— You can cancel this autoship program at any time by calling 1-888-636-9023. However, customer reviews for Encante online seem to indicate that canceling their trial was extremely difficult and customer service refused to give out any type of refunds – so be careful.
There’s nothing wrong with this pricing policy if the manufacturer was upfront and honest about the charges. Unfortunately, they’ve taken an opposite approach. All of this information is hidden in faint grey-colored text at the bottom of the Encante ordering page. It’s also listed deep in the terms and conditions section. Most customers won’t read through either of these small sections before they order – which is something the manufacturer of Encante is banking on.
Ultimately, good skin creams don’t have to rely on overcharging customers with hundreds of dollars in hidden credit card charges.
Who Makes Encante?
Encante clearly has some serious issues with its customer service, its pricing policies, and its lack of ingredients or testing.
So who’s responsible for this skin cream? That responsibility lies to a company that lists the following address:

The company never lists its name or manufacturing location or any other information about itself.
However, if you Google that address, you’ll see numerous reports from scam-watch websites like scambook.com and ripoffreport.com that claim the address has been linked to some fraudulent skin creams.
Skin Logic, for example, and Blackline Elite, were both sold by a company that lists that address as its headquarters.
When you check out that address in Google Maps, you’ll realize that it’s not a corporate headquarters for a major skin care company at all: it’s just a UPS Store.
Ultimately, Encante makes enormous claims about its benefits, refuses to back those benefits up with ingredients or testing information, and then secretly pre-authorizes your credit card for over $200 of hidden charges. For all of these reasons, Encante is one skin cream that isn’t worth the ludicrously high price tag.
I have been trying for months to cancel!!’ Just got that thru this customer service number-1-877-497-0090. They hung up on me twice. It’s under the name Youth Truth Today at my bank. You cannot return any product for refund. DO NOT ORDER
Do not order from them!! It is a scam and customer service bullies you through the process. Even their supposed supervisors bully you.
The product left my skin red and welty
Scam, scam, scam! Encante showed no dramatic results and would NOT let me return an unopened box that had been mailed to me. I told them I would like to get the product once a year, but was worried about the quality of the product I had being bad after one year. The rep said its good for two years. I said I still didn’t want six jars sitting around. She said I had stated my problem and the problem was alleviated. I told her I just didn’t want it and she said I couldn’t receive a refund. When asked for a supervisor she stated she was the supervisor! I told her to immediately cancel my subscription. And, you know who endorses and claims the product? Joy Behar of The View! That should have been my first clue the product was worthless! Shame on me for falling for this scam!
This is a SCAM! Do not order the “free” trial–they will bill you monthly for $98.71 and if you try to get them to stop, they will offer a 35% refund. This is false advertising and your bank cannot get the money back for you–I tried. They have an “F” rating on Better Business Bureau…these companies are getting better at stealing your money–you have to do some checking before falling for these offers…I learned the hard way:(
I had ordered the trial of Encante after I was offered a $1.95 shipping charge for the free product trial (This pop-up offer occured after trying to close their product trial offer page). I noted that the cancellation had to occur within 14 days of placing the order, not 14 days after receiving the product.
I called days after receiving the product, on about the 12th day (after placing my order), and stated that I was calling to cancel because in the limited time that I had to try the product I had seen few , if any, significant results.
The customer service rep offered me an additional 30 days on the trial and gave me a date that I had to call in by if I did not want to keep the product.
I called on the 28th day of that extension to, again, cancel my trial and I was offered 2 options.
1. I could return the product to them (at my expense)…..or
2. I could pay $9.95 as a one time charge to keep the product
I decided that I would pump out the remaining product from the dispenser into a small clean container and, thus, lighten the weight to reduce return shipping charges and to offset those expenses by having the remainder of the product to use or discard, since it was pointed out that the item would be destroyed and not reshipped or used in any way.
Further inquiry revealed that they have nothing in place on their end to track returns, so I would suggest requesting a proof of having sent something to their return address when it’s mailed from the post office.
I was advised that I would receive an email confirmation of the cancellation and, I might add, that the customer service rep that I spoke with was friendly, polite, and helpful.
As for the actual Encante product, all I can say is that I saw no profound effects that would make it anywhere near as effective as ‘Botox’. There was a tightening sensation and improved appearance , but it was only temporary and not at all long lasting. I have had nearly the same effects from multiple other products that are easily available in retail stores at incredibly lower prices. Also, it does concern and bother me that there is no ingredient disclosure.
Try if you like, but strictly adhere to their cancellation policy or, like the article says, you will be billed a huge amount for a marginally effective product.
