After yesterday’s teaser clip that made us wonder what model is Lamborghini going to unveil, a story emerged purportedly showing a ‘production’ version of the Huracan Spyder.

This is the Huracan Spyder, the open-top version of Lamborghini’s entry-level model. The picture was supposedly leaked by Zero2Turbo and shows what is claimed to be the final production model, but the truth is that -as convincing as it may seem- this is just a render from the German publication Autobild.

The rear deck is redesigned in the same way Lamborghini did with the Aventador Roadster. The folding roof will probably remain fabric as opposed to metal used by its most direct competitors, like the Ferrari 488 Spider and the McLaren 650S Spider.

We also do not expect any differences concerning the powertrain, which means that the 5.2-litre V10 will continue to produce 610PS (601hp) in order to drive all four wheels of the Huracan, only now the soundtrack will be even more clear to the passengers thanks to the removable roof.

The Huracan Spyder is our best bet on which car Lamborghini is going to reveal on the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. Which one is yours?
