SEBRING, Fla. (AP) — Two people are dead in a plane crash in central Florida.

The Highlands County Sheriff’s Office reports that the aircraft went down around 11 a.m. Friday at the Sebring Airport. It was found near the airport runway.

The identities of the victims weren’t immediately released.

The sheriff’s office says they were participating in a manufacturing event at the airport. The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are expected to investigate.
