Previous videos showing the Renault Sandero RS 2.0 were more teaser-like, not allowing the viewer to get too good of a look at the car. Now though, a new slower paced video has been published and it gives us a much better view of the car and the people behind its development; over 70 new photos were added too.

It features statements by all of those involved, from France, Brazil and Argentina; all their know-how needed to meld in order for the car to still feel like a RenaultSport product, but at the same time, be fit to sell in Latin American countries.

Renault also released specs for the car and to not drag this any further, the 0-100 km/h time is 8 seconds dead; top speed is 202 km/h or 125.5 mph. Even with the fairly big 2.0-liter 150 PS engine, it’s still a very light car, tipping the scales at just 1,161 kg or 2,559 lbs.

The suspension is 26 mm lower than on the standard Sandero, and it’s also considerably stiffer: 17 percent stiffer sway bar up front and 65 percent stiffer at the back.

Several new photos were made available too along with the video posted below.
