5 Incredibly Delicious Cocktails Handcrafted By Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas has a hidden talent: he's great at making drinks. Here, let him show you.

Recently we've learned that Nick Jonas is a pro at standing still with his shirt off, but did you know he's also really good at making cocktails? Yup, add mixologist to Nick Jonas' résumé, which is already filled with endless bullet points about his musical abilities — have you heard his new solo single "Jealous"? — and apparent acting chops.

Nick stopped by the BuzzFeed office to show off his drink-making talents, which began as nothing more than just a fun party trick: "I just sort of started messing around with it, found a few things that I liked, and shared them with friends," Nick told BuzzFeed. "Then it just sort of took off."

And so we present the following super-easy (and yes, super-boozy!) cocktail recipes, made up by Nick Jonas on the fly. Each recipe makes one drink.

    1. The Green-Eyed Monster

    You'll need:

    • 3 shots tequila

    • 4.5 oz. San Pellegrino Limonata

    • 3 oz. Naked Green Machine juice

    • 2 orange wedges (squeezed)

    How to Prepare:

Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake! Pour and enjoy. Garnish with orange wedge.

    Nick's Thoughts:

"The green juice makes it interesting. You can make [this drink] lighter or stronger, too."

    2. Craig Tea Nelson

    You'll Need:

    • 2 lime wedges

    • 3 shots whiskey

    • 4.5 oz. ginger ale

    • 4.5 oz. green iced tea

    How to Prepare:

Pour ingredients into a glass and stir. Garnish with lime wedge.

    Nick's Thoughts:

"This one is kind of like my winter jam," he said. "Whiskey's not my favorite, but [it's] a studio drink. Whiskey's good for the voice."

    3. Brambleberry Smash

    You'll Need:

    • 2 shots vodka

    • 1.5 oz. brambleberry iced tea

    • 6 oz. coconut water

    • 1 lime wedge

    How to Prepare:

Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice to mix. (Make sure to shake the coconut water in its container before pouring.) Garnish with lime wedge.

    Nick's Thoughts:

"I'm no pro, I just have fun with it," he said. "My bar at home is super simple. Just a few things that I like."

    4. The Bodega

    You'll Need:

    • 2 lime wedges (squeezed)

    • 2 orange wedges (squeezed)

    • 2 shots rum

    • 4.5 oz. club soda

    • 0.5 oz. Cholula hot sauce

    • 3 oz. mango iced tea

    How to Prepare:

Pour all ingredients into a shaker and stir. Be liberal with your use of oranges and limes. Garnish with lime wedge.

    Nick's Thoughts:

"As long as you make it look nice, that's all that matters."

    5. The Bombay Dream

    You'll need:

    • 3 shots gin, Bombay Sapphire preferred

    • 6 oz. club soda

    • 2 splashes orange juice

    • 3 lime wedges

    How to Prepare:

Fill shaker with ingredients and mix with a spoon. This is to be stirred, NOT shaken. Garnish with lime wedge.

    Nick's Thoughts:

"This is a cocktail I created in South America while we were on tour," he said. "Basically I just wanted to find a lower-calorie drink and this is what I came up with."

    And how does it taste?

    "Fantastic."
