It's catching: Katherine Jenkins to marry fiancé Andrew Levitas THIS weekend in London
KATHERINE Jenkins is set to wed her American fiancé this weekend, less than a year after they first met.
The mezzo soprano will tie the knot at London's Hampton Court Palace on Saturday afternoon, where a Welsh flag will fly outside to mark the occasion, it has been confirmed.
The pair - who announced their engagement just five months ago - are said to be including plenty of Welsh influences, paying homage to Katherine's homeland.
It is believed there will be a harpist to entertain the guests along with Welsh produce being used during the wedding breakfast, including bara brith, Welsh black beef and Welsh lamb.
"Katherine wants Wales to play a central role on her big day," said a source.
Other details of the event, including the dress and guest list, are being kept under wraps, with the pair apparently keen to keep their big day private.
Speaking about her wedding plans in July, Katherine told Express.co.uk" "We’re trying to do our best to come up with a good plan as both sides of the family might have to travel – we haven’t settled on a location yet.

"It’s a bit more complicated when you have families from different parts of the world, but we’ll work it out. I don’t think I’ll turn into a bridezilla, I think I’ll stay pretty calm about it all. I hope so, anyway!"
Katherine announced her engagement to Andrew in April after a six-month romance, taking their relationship public by arriving together at Buckingham Palace when Katherine collected her OBE.
They met when they were both working in New York and began dating in October.
Jenkins was previously engaged to presenter Gethin Jones but the pair split in early 2012 – 10 months after he proposed.
