Tuckahoe School District Unveils New Logo

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Although the Tuckahoe School District logo will be sporting a new, more streamlined look this fall, parents can rest assured that their children will still enjoy the same quality of education that has made the district one of the top in the county.

On Monday, district officials announced that after developing a new district mission and strategic goals earlier this year, it was determined by the District Steering Committee that the logo should also be updated.

According to the logo sub-committee, the new logo “takes a fresh approach to many of the traditional visual elements,” including “the font, the T (representing Tuckahoe), and the art deco feel of the historic high school building.”

The new logo sports the district’s traditional orange, black and white colors, with a nod to education in the form of an open book and pays homage to the Tiger’s mascot with faded tiger stripes in the background. The implementation of the new logo will be rolled out slowly, beginning with the district website and stationery.
