He has been a flight attendant for going on six years now, but he has never, in all his days, seen such a comically tall man trying to sit in the seat of an airplane. More accurately, trying to get out of one, as he comes bounding over to Castiel, exasperated at best. The man schools his features before turning a bit more sheepish and embarrassed, a fascinatingly quick change of expression as he reads Castiel’s nametag.

Dean is dying, the hellhounds are on their way to claim his soul, and Sammy is keeping away so he can work on that crazy plan of his to circumvent the contract and, hopefully, save Dean's life. To top it all off Dean is now being hunted by the FBI because clearing out a nest of vamps looks eerily similar to serial murder. Then you throw in the hazy memory of a one night stand with a sweater vest wearing nerd and things get even more complicated.
Spencer is in recovery. The Tobias Hankel incident is, supposedly, behind him and he's moving forward with his life. Or at least, he's trying to. But life never makes it easy, does it? Enter the weirdest case the BAU has ever come across. Victims walking around with dead blood running through their veins, beheaded bodies stacking up at an alarming rate, and enough missing persons cases to drown a city. Add in the one night stand he'd rather forget and you have a recipe for chaos.
Can the BAU solve this case? Or will the supernatural solve it for them?

However, in 1989, a bloodbath wiped out the majority of the family. Only four managed to survive the slaughter.
Ash Calaway, her twin siblings, Tommy and Annie, and their mother, Vivian managed to narrowly escape execution. The Calaway kids find themselves thrust into a nomadic life of hunting every fairytale monster and thing that goes bump in the night.
Ash knows a few things for certain:
1) Hunting is her life's calling, whether she wants it to be or not.
2) Her brother and sister are all that matter.
3) Surviving is going to be a lot harder than she thought it would be.

Much of the first 20 chapters was written sporadically over my teens and early adulthood. Quality, tone and style will change as you read. Test pilot instructor Cas (who's afraid of boats) ran from his Air Force family to join the Navy, Dean ran from his Marine Corps father to work on airplanes for the Navy— just as long as he doesn't have to fly in one, he's fine. They've met in the middle, but also in an impossible circumstance. It seems as if the one thing they want is something they can't have.
Unless solving one impossible mystery could free them...

Now that his little brother, Sam, is settled in California and Bobby's got a handle on the garage, they convinced Dean to finally do something for himself. After a chance encounter at the Air Force recruitment fair Sam dragged him to, Dean got hooked on air traffic control, and he gets stationed at Kansas City Tower for his final leg of training. There, he has to impress his on-job instructor Castiel Novak, the ex-Air Force captain who piqued his interest in ATC in the first place. (And only in ATC. He swears. Those blue eyes and dark hair and stupid hat have nothing to do with it.) If all that wasn't hard enough, just one week into his OJT, Dean gets a call telling him his father is dying and has to move back home to live out his final days-which could be more like years.
Dean has to decide whether to continue to let his life be defined by his father's mistakes and his misguided obligation to everyone else, or if he's brave enough-and strong enough-to find a life in his own shape.
