The badly outnumbered Bronx Republicans are headed for the suburbs.
Boro GOPers are taking the party to the acclaimed Saint Andrews Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson Wednesday for a fund-raiser with former Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
The oft-beleaguered organization is focused on expanding its presence in a borough that is nearly 90% Democratic, said Bronx GOP chairman John Greaney.
The party boss —a Democrat unil about six years ago — took the reins last year after Joseph (Jay) Savino was charged in connection with a scheme to help then-state Sen. Malcolm Smith of Queens run for mayor as a Republican in exchange for bribes.
The party is still trying to chip its way out of the bunker and strengthen its links to the community.
A quarter of the proceeds this week will go to the Bronx Veterans Welfare Fund and the Bi-Centennial Veterans Memorial Park, Greany said.
