Wikimedia Commons

The name Nephron comes from the structural unit of the kidney.

I've been around here since mid-2008. I have over 3,500 image uploads. Most of them are original works, pathology-related and from a Rebel XSi and later from a Rebel T6s. Generally, my images are post-processed with GIMP to white balance and de-vignette.

I am flattered if you find an image I have uploaded good enough for whatever use you have in mind. There is no need to ask me permission for use of any particular image(s); however, you must respect the applicable (copyleft) license(s) associated with the image(s). Generally, I do not release images into the public domain or make images for non-free use.

A proper attribution should include the copyright date (based on the File history), my name (Michael Bonert), and the full text of one of the licences.

If the image is used online and not medical, a link to the full text of the licence is acceptable and I ask that you link to this page, for example:
