Katherine Jenkins dons fairytale gown for drinks event with celebrity chef Raymond Blanc
KATHERINE JENKINS looked like she just stepped out of the pages of a fairytale, as she took to the stage at a Martell Cognac Very Special Nights event on Friday.
The mezzo soprano stunned in a floor-sweeping ice-blue gown for her performance at the party, which was held at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons in Great Milton, Oxfordshire.
The 34-year-old classical-crossover singer left her blonde hair in a loose wave and accessorised the sophisticated frock with diamante drop earrings.
The party, which was hosted by Raymond Blanc, treated guests to an array of food made by the well-known French chef.
After having a splendid evening with her pal, Katherine hit Twitter to write: "Voila! With my favourite French Man @raymond_blanc @lemanoir for the last of this summers #MartellVerySpecialNights."
She also wrote: "He taught me to cook, I encouraged him to sing! La vie en rose with @raymond_blanc #MartellVerySpecialNights."
Katherine, who recently announced her engagement to US artist and film actor-director Andrew Levitas, is gearing up for the release of her 10th album Home Sweet Home.
The Welsh beauty says her latest piece of work, which sees her going back to her classical sound, reflects the "full circle" in her life.
“I’m going back to my musical family, to my musical roots," she told Wales Online.
“I felt I had been pushed towards new things that were not really me. This album has the music that people want to hear and enjoy me performing.
“It is full of uplifting and stirring songs, like Land Of My Fathers and World In Union."
Home Sweet Home will be released on November 17.
