It started with a few Internet memes using the image of WWE’s Hall of Famer as a rallying cry for America, but  Hulk Hogan took it upon himself to go one step further.  The legendary Hulkster took to Twitter yesterday to formally declare his unwavering support for the US team.

With the entire nation backing the team as it faces Germany in a match that will determine whether or not the United States advances to the knockout stage of the tournament, everyone is trying to get America pumped up. Actor Will Ferrell appeared at a pep rally in Brazil, and the team’s coach, Jurgen Klinsmann, wrote a “doctor’s note” for everyone to print out and use to leave work and watch the game.

However, there are few things more American than WWE and “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan – after all, even Chuck Norris can’t hold a candle to The Hulkster.
