The overall feel of Android TV should be easy to understand for anyone who has used Android or Google Play. Sorting through--or searching for--content is simple, thanks to compatibility with any Android device, including smartphones, tablets, and even smartwatches like the upcoming Moto 360.
During the presentation, a voice search for Breaking Bad showed options to watch the show via Google Play. And scrolling down, it was possible to see the show's cast and other relevant information.
Android TV will take advantage of Google Cast, and the interface will be compatible with upcoming Sony, Sharp, and TPVision televisions later this fall. Additionally, Razer and Asus will release set-top boxes around the same time.
Google also made a point to show games running on Android TV, including a demonstration of NBA Jam multiplayer, using a tablet and gamepad as controllers.
