Fargo's Allison Tolman Set for Multi-Episode Arc on The Mindy Project

One thing for darn tootin' certain about FX's Fargo is that it made an insta-star out of Allison Tolman, who played courageous Bemidji deputy, Molly Solverson. But with Fargo being an anthology series, and next season being set in the 70s, she can't exactly come back for an encore. So where is she headed next?

TVLine is reporting that the Emmy-nominated Tolman has landed a guest role on FOX's The Mindy Project, as a romance novelist named Abby Berman.

Tolman's Abby will appear on two episodes, introduced via a horrible blind date with Adam Pally's Peter.

The Mindy Project's new season premieres on September 16th on FOX.
