#578: Don Depresso, Neurotic Nicole, and Ruji Set Up Their COVID-19 Prevention and Treatment Research Lab (eternally Draft 1, since my computer stopped working yesterday; read the real-life Neurotic Nicole’s scientific commentary below)

Neurotic Nicole on 9/10/2020, 7:23 AM EST:

Shit, man… well first off COVID-19 isn’t viable as an infectious agent in water and this might alarm people unjustly… annnd open flame in a bio cabinet isn’t a good idea…

Sorry! I love you!!

Ruji on 9/10/2020, 9:59 AM PST:

Thanks for the info! Can I copy/paste that text from you with the Stanford link along with the comic draft on Don Depresso’s Tumblr, IG, and Facebook? My computer won’t charge or stay on at all, so I’m stuck with Draft 1 and want to at least show something for all the work I put into it already (while being straightforward about any scientific errors in the draft).

Neurotic Nicole on 9/10/2020, 1:07 PM EST:

Hahaha no problem

Ruji on 9/10/2020, 10:08 AM PST:

Neurotic Nicole on 9/10/2020, 1:10 PM EST:

Well, to be perfectly clear, the virus isn’t likely to be transmitted in water buuut respiratory droplets are another thing 😉

Ruji on 9/10/2020, 10:14 AM PST:

“Because perhaps we could all stand to get a little more tin-foil-hat about this social structure in which we live, eat, shit, eat shit, and die—and maybe then the politically divided families, friends, groups with labels, and citizens in general would see through the illusions set up to separate us?” (Don Depresso, 2016)

To prevent confusion: This is a fictional comic that contains actual screenshots of documents from WikiLeaks, GalacticConnection, and voat.co/v/pizzagate (current replacement for Reddit’s banned /r/pizzagate forum, as of this writing; the investigation is open-source due to lack of official investigations), but they’re cut up and pasted into a collage outside of their original contexts.

If you want to read the original documents referenced herein, search for them on WikiLeaks (which may or not be online/trustworthy by the time you read this) and/or visit the URLs shown in the screenshots.

If you happen to be curious and inclined to research things outside of mainstream media sources (since you probably won’t hear anything about “PizzaGate” on the news unless they’re saying it’s debunked and citing Snopes), there is a lot of information out there to dig into. I won’t comment on that topic a whole lot right now, as I don’t want to get banned from Tumblr (and I hope Tumblr isn’t censoring posts like Reddit and Twitter have been).

Oh yeah, and this is a re-make of the original version of this comic from last week, which I feel came out in a way that was misleading and unhelpful to anyone seriously interested in these topics who came across my comics.

Repost from shortly after the 2016 U.S. Presidential election, in response to all of the election-related media chaos and the concurrent child sex trafficking scandal (“Pizzagate”) that seemed to get swept under the rug.

Manic Chart: Triad of Triads

“Triad of Triads” version 1.0.0-alpha (pre-release) + some 3D Spectral Cluster(fuck) Personality Theory data visualizations

Early draft of the “Triad of Triads” diagram I’ve been sketching to support my (inter)personality theory, the “3D Spectral Cluster(fuck) Personality Theory” (3D-SCPT).

The computer-generated charts below the illustration were previously calculated from actual survey data I collected from 439 responses to my online 3D-SCPT questionnaire (sadly, you can’t take the survey anymore, as the site database crashed :-[ ).

The “Triad of Triads” idea was mainly inspired by readings on the Dark Triad and Myers-Briggs typology, as well as my own research. I made up the Bright Triad and Light Triad.

This idea will be revised, probably a lot. Stay tuned!

Relevant personality tests:

Have a manic day,
Dr. Depresso

More old personality research charts I’m re-posting for #ChartDay.

The bar graphs show correlations of Myers-Briggs personality types with personality disorder traits and with “Aspie” and “neurotypical” traits.

For instance:

- ISFJ is the most neurotypical, least Aspie, and most avoidant MBTI type.

- INFJ is the most Aspie (closely followed by INTP), least neurotypical, and the most evenly balanced on personality disorder traits.

Just one MBTI letter (“S"ensing vs. ”I“ntuitive) makes a big difference!

(If you’re curious, the "3D Spectral Cluster[fuck] Personality Theory” project has been renamed to “12D Spectral Cluster[fuck] Personality Theory” and placed on the backburner until I have more free time to continue analyzing the data.)

Manic Chart: Myers-Briggs Personality Disorder Awards

Comparison of personality-disordered traits across different Myers-Briggs types, based on 439 responses to the 3D Spectral Cluster(fuck) Personality Theory (3D-SCPT) questionnaire.

The 3D-SCPT is a larger project that my author, Ruji Chapnik, is developing. She collected the personality disorder scores for this particular graphic by giving participants the SimilarMinds Personality Disorder Test (free test chosen for lack of funds, not diagnostic reliability).

Research goals (Ruji’s words):
“I want to connect various, disparate personality frameworks that already exist as well as add my own scales to measure traits that don’t appear on any well-known personality tests to date. I’m especially interested in identifying patterns of human behavior and frequently clustered traits using a descriptive approach that remains independent of cultural constructs of pathology—so I’ll be looking at characteristics associated with mental disorders as well as those considered ‘normal’ variations.” (Chapnik, 2014, para. 3)

Methodology:
In 2014, Ruji authored and self-hosted the (now-offline) 3D-SCPT questionnaire with the open-source survey software LimeSurvey and collected participants’ responses to numerous online personality tests until her own survey’s database crashed. She is currently in the analysis phase and has been experimenting with Tableau Public to create data visualizations such as the chart above.

Oh, by the way:
This amateur study on psychopathology and personality is totally not peer-reviewed or in any way “scientifically valid.”

That said, if you want to learn more or participate in discussions on 3D Spectral Cluster(fuck) Personality Theory, Ruji and I cordially invite you to join the 3D-SCPT Facebook group.

See ya next time in cyberspace,
Don

I saw that today is #ChartDay on Tumblr, so I’m re-posting this old chart.
