“When was the last time you checked the basement?” Sangwoo asks, casually leaning against the door leading to said basement.
Yoon Bum turns slowly, lowering the heat on the stove. The basement? Bum never checks the basement. That’s the one thing he told Sangwoo he wouldn’t do. He has no idea what’s down there, and the thought of Sangwoo ever treating him like he had once before is horrifying to even consider.
“I-I don’t,” Bum offers, lips quivering in a small frown. “You know that,” he encourages.
“Right, right,” Sangwoo considers, glancing at the door knob, barely acknowledging Yoon Bum at all.
“We should go down there again.”

Still the Pokemon League catches wind of the gym’s existence and finds that its time to send two of their trainers to get as much information on the gym as possible.
How could he have expected to end up like this?

The same words Steve said months earlier when Eddie was loath to even let Steve get him a glass of water. They mean something different now, a fiery swell that takes Eddie down, but it’s always been about this, hasn’t it? Letting himself be cared for without the expectation of returning the favor. Trusting that Steve won’t hurt him, that he’ll catch him no matter how hard he falls.
Eddie nods, desperate to know what Steve’s hands on him can actually do outside of the confines of his fantasies.
“Need you to use your words for me, okay? Do you want me to take care of you? Make you feel good?” His pinky finger teases the hem of his boxers and Eddie bites his bottom lip, head tipping back against Steve’s shoulder.
“Yeah, yeah, I want you to take care of me.” Relief floods his chest as he says it out loud, his brain finally quiet and his body loose.
Or, Eddie Munson lets Steve Harrington take care of him in ways he'd never dared to imagine.

“And it’s not charity, or obligation, or pity,” and it’s like Steve can read him, can see his soul; “kinda the opposite, because it hurts to be anywhere but here, where you’re okay, when we were so fucking afraid you wouldn’t be.”
And doesn’t that fucking sear for the slap of it in his face; doesn’t that goddamn sing in his veins that still have blood pumping through them.
“So,” Steve leans forward, draws Eddie’s touch somehow closer to his chest, to the thrum of his heartbeat as real-real-real, and there for Eddie to anchor himself in as being real, too.
“Will you let me help?”

Not knowing that Lan WangJi has been thrown back in time as well; he tries; and fails at taking his own life by slitting his throat open in the middle of lotus pier and so; he decides to show everyone the future.
If he’s going to live this hell again; he’s going to change it and if these people are suddenly so determined to keep him alive; then he’s not going to let them die either.It doesn’t matter if they end up hating him just as much as he hates himself.

Eddie, otherwise known as the town freak, was different. His attire was…on the darker side. He played Dungeons & Dragons after school with a bunch of children. The trailer park he called home didn’t have the best reputation, especially with his small business (which may or may not be legal), coming in and out. And as far as music went…well, let’s just say that it isn’t the most traditional. All of these mixing up into making him an easy target for small-minded idiots like Jason Carver. Of course, it didn’t help that Eddie is a smartass who couldn’t keep his fucking mouth shut.
