Nathan M Half a star for an A+ trap concept. Apocalypse films are fantastic, this isn't that. Feels like i just watched an extended episode of Big Brother. Serves as a great cautionary tale to keep your friend circle well manicured, and that your neighbours will likely become unreasonable people a couple days into a tense situation. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Cinephemeride [ A good starting idea so poorly scripted, poorly directed and poorly interpreted that we die of boredom watching this interminable film Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/28/23 Full Review Fat L It's the white people's intellectual, privileged version of the end of the world. Not very realistic at all. The man stores up food and medicine but no weapons, because that's realistic. I watched it until the end but there just wasn't anything satisfying about the middle or the end. It started off ok but then it just became a soap opera. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review Freddy R Surprised it was such a great movie with a great moral and realistic characters!! No idea what the low score was for other than people offended by lesson that we're our own greatest enemy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/18/23 Full Review Alex V It was alright, won't watch again lol. Didn't even show the terroristic attacks or the conclusion to that. Maybe we'll get a sequel. Least they could have done was show some skin. I'm joking but seriously had some potential and it fell miserably Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/18/23 Full Review kevin c Post apocalyptic movies are a dime a dozen these days. This one stands out as a bit different, this one focuses on a group of friends getting together at a cottage as the world begins to unravel. So we don't know what's going on with the world just something, making the viewer just as in the dark as the characters. Very well acted with a very good ensemble cast as their relationships change with the events unfolding. Adrian Grenier, Ben Mackenzie, Kid Cudi, McKenna Grace and Kerry Bishe star. G. Allen Johnson San Francisco Chronicle If there are roving bands of rogue soldiers, angry and distrustful neighbors and biker gangs running convenience stores, would you be high and naked in the outdoor hot tub? Would you really be picking at old jealousies from the college days? Rated: 1/4 Apr 10, 2014 Full Review Glenn Kenny RogerEbert.com None of these characters really work as either representations of ideologies or human beings, and none of their female counterparts, despite the fact that the movie was co-written by a woman, are convincing ...
