Summary
After Derek loses his second pack he flees, and all of Beacon Hills is left with only two young and inexperienced werewolves: Scott and Isaac. Even counting Stiles they are barely a pack at all. Nine months later and two weeks into the boys senior year a new threat emerges that puts everyone in danger. Stiles is determined to seek help knowing that they are particularly vulnerable without a real Alpha.
But getting Derek and Scott to work together is nigh impossible. And for some weird reason Isaac is convinced that Stiles and Derek are secretly together and keeps trying to offer his support behind Scott's back. However, someone has to keep tabs on their resident sourwolf, and Stiles knows no one else is lining up for the job. In which, Derek and Stiles are already pretty coupley long before either of them realize it.

His foot had just hit the bottom step on the porch and the next thing he knew he was spun around and pushed roughly against the front door. This was the second time tonight Derek had manhandled his way into Stiles' personal space. Between that primal growl from the elder teen and their close proximity, it sent a chill through him that had absolutely nothing to do with fear.
Good, god, there was no reason he should have enjoyed that. Stiles found his gaze darting back and forth from Derek's bright eyes to his lips.
“Kidding! Geez!” Stiles put his hands up in surrender, unable to stop the higher pitch his voice had taken.
A quiet snarl escaped Derek before he shoved just a little harder at Stiles' chest. Derek huffed, then stepped back. “I was keeping an eye on you.”
“Why?” His hands came up to straighten his shirt once more. The elder male's hands balled up at his sides, Stiles noticed. He also saw that Derek had tensed considerably. This made him watch the other a bit more skeptically, a brow shifting upward as his eyes narrowed. “Derek..? Why were you keeping an eye on me?”
“Because I think the Alpha is targeting you.”

As Stiles pushed in, Derek could feel how big and heavy his balls were, he really hadn't been exaggerating on the phone, they were huge. Much bigger than normal human physics could explain.

With his child hood role model, the person Stiles had grown up hearing stories about, two gods, an assassins that won’t stop scaring the shit out of Stiles, a physicist that grows into a green hulk of a toddler and a certain blue eyed archer that catches his attention wherever he goes along with a gentleman literally born in the 1940’s who has more issues than Stiles himself and who’s determined to court the shit out of him like he was one of the old dames he’d seen in old movies; Stiles finds himself having a life that he'd only dreamed about when he was younger.
For once, being Stiles Stilinski actually means something to the world.

Derek shivered, because it felt good. He had never wanted to be touched more than he did at that moment. He looked up at the man again, questioningly, as his eyesight started to regain focus. Still, he couldn't see the man's face. Something about him was keeping him from doing so. All he could garner, from the shroud in his perception that must have been caused by magic, was the man's eyes, shining through the darkness. So bright it burned.
His eyes were alpha red.

And before Derek could react, Stiles grabbed him by the collar and lifted him off the ground effortlessly. "You think you're so tough? Huh?"
Derek struggled futilely in Stiles' grip, kicking and punching wildly but to no avail. His heart raced in his chest, pounding like a drum as he realized he was in serious danger. "Stiles, I'm not here to fight, please! I can help you control it!" He pleaded, his eyes pleading for mercy.
But Stiles only grunted, his grip tightening further. "I don't need your help!" he growled, his teeth bared in a menacing grin. "I'm done being a pawn in your stupid games!"
