I've taken down quite a few by boarding them. Some people are clueless; even though the A.I is screaming at them and there's a prompt in the middle of the screen telling players they've been boarded, people don't clock on and carry on fighting.

Also, pilots can deal a surprising amount of damage simply by using two arc grenades and a sidewinder. The shields and health deplete surprisingly fast.

Very true, thanks for the tip

Leave your titan on auto and use it as a distraction whilst you board, They won't risk getting out to get you off whilst another titan is attacking them most of the time.

I barely spend any time in my titan, I just use it as a big attack dog.

When I am in a Titan I have found that pummeling the crap out of them is quite effective.

Use your votex shield properly.

1.)If you catch a enemy wave of missles and they put their shit up, don't fire it at them, aim it at the ground or in the air and let go. No point in taking damage.

2.)Use your burst speed properly, many people have their look speed low, if you can get behind them they have nothing to help them.

3.)Keep getting on and off of a pilots titan if he gets out.
-note- if you are boarded get out and jump back in and burst move, you will almost always crush them. (if a teammate is boarded just punch them)

4.)Use the smoke, it will kill pilots on you

5.)if you have nuke, lure enemies into close range fights, corner them and them doom on purpose. *I managed a triple kill like this several times*

6.)get close to someone when they are doomed and hit them. If someone is nuke doomed pull up your vortex shield it can absord some damage.

7.)if you are in a match and have massive load enabled you can use your titan to do massive amounts of damage to the escape ship.

8.)If you don't see any players near you kill some NPC's it will tick down your titan time faster than you think.

9.)when fighting players in your titan, juke them, move forward towards them, when they jump boost backwards and forwards again you will crush them. *use this on npcs that come out of drop ships*

10.)Don't think you are being a coward for running from a fight, If your shields are down disengage back out and wait for another chance.

10 easy tips from a player.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

An ode to Titanfall: The last twitch shooter I'll probably ever enjoy

Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."

Physical media. Unfortunately the way games are going these days game servers will eventually be shut down and you can stare at the menu and wish you could play the game again.

This is why reading is so important. Nothing to do with digital or physical media. The game, which is online only, is being delisted because of DDOS and other hacker attacks. The case got so bad that only six players in the world log on. For PC. Rather than fix it, they continued to sell the game, broken as it is, and only now just decided to call it quits. But please, go on thinking what you will.

I'm aware of the DDOS attacks and that this case is not typical. This game would eventually have it's servers shutdown regardless of the current situation so that is a moot point. My comment was in a general sense and that there are instances in which games can be preserved physically when official support ends.

Let's recap your first sentence. I said, "the way GAMES are going these days" indicating a broader stroke than just this game. I agree, reading IS important. I was simply stating the obvious downsides of the digital marketplaces and online only trends in games these days. I could even make the argument that the online only offering which has allowed hacker manipulation has impacted the preservation of this great game. My comment is valid in the general sense and thank you for your permission to continue to think what I will.
