Community Meals

Bring your little ones and join us in the heart of the farm, where you'll learn a fresh recipe amidst a vibrant group of individuals!

These meals are free, with limited space. All that is required is a $5 reservation fee. The meals are intimately connected to our weekly garden yield, offering you an immersive experience in understanding the seasonal rhythm of growing and cooking food. We're all about teamwork here, and you'll be knee-deep in the action! You'll get to pick your own veggies for the meal, with our friendly farm hands showing you the ropes. Then, it's off to the wash station to get them clean and ready. Our chefs can't wait to show you how to whip up a tasty dish in our kitchen. As the day concludes, we'll relish our hard-earned meal, watching the sun dip below the picturesque Sunnyslope valley.

Welcome to Peaceful Belly Farm

35-acre farm striving to honor and foster collaboration with nature to build ecological resilience and community. We believe diversity is powerful. We offer a farm cafe, cidery, farm stand and CSA Program (Community Supported Agriculture), pick your own flowers and community Jardin. Peaceful Belly is a small family farm. The owners of Peaceful Belly, Clay and Josie Erskine, are the farmers, the cidermakers, the chef, the educational director and the flower artist. We believe in genetic diversity, both domestic, wild, and human. We grow over 180 types of vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, and berries, make hard cider, educate the public and cook down-home meals.

We can’t do what we do without the support of the community. We work hard to connect consumers with the people that produce food. We strive to create a better community not only with what we produce but also through our educational and outreach programs and partnerships. We aim to ensure that everyone can enjoy our food, regardless of social class.

In our twenty years of farming, we have learned so much. First and foremost is the importance of good stewardship for our soil, environment, water, and community. The Treasure Valley has a beautiful terroir we love to share and be a part of.

Inner Peace can start with gratitude from a full belly of healthy food, an armful of flowers or a mouth full of berries, grown honorably by many hands with deep respect for Mother Earth, from there radical magic is possible.

Peaceful Belly is an agrarian focused business. We are farmers who create artisan products from the soils we tend to. We aspire to be rooted in the community by influencing regional culinary innovation and maintaining ecological transparency in all our hand-crafted goods and inspirational events. We strive to create an economically sustainable business to educate, entertain and further enhance our beautiful Idaho way of life.
