Baking Cookies In A Hot Car Is Possible (In 4-5 Hours)

Can You Bake Cookies In A Hot Car?

If it is over 95 degrees outside, the last thing you want to do is use your oven. But say you have a craving for homemade chocolate chip cookies. You might just be able to bake them outside.

The Consumerist points us to two recent sources that experimented with baking cookies in one's car. Don't expect the cookies to be ready as fast as an oven would bake them though -- ThinkGeek's experiment took about five hours. The Gazette of Eastern Iowa found similar luck, in four hours. Verdict is that car-baked cookies taste pretty good too.

The video below instructs you to sit outside for hours as the cookies slowly bake. No pain, no gain, apparently.
