Daisy Church is a San Francisco artist and animator who is responsible for curating this lovely bunch of artists! She worked with Mission Comic’s Leef Smith in dreaming up this show as a tribute to Sandman’s 25th anniversary, and bringing contemporary low brow, pop surreal and illustrators together to pay homage to DC Comic’s seminal series. This is her third show she has curated with Mission Comics.

Her original artwork depicts Delight and Delirium, two forms of the same person/being. Her interest lay with the duality of these two ideas and the concept of metamorphosis and change. Delight is framed by butterflies, and Delirium by her signature fish. The entire piece is set in an ornate black frame.
