Summary
In an alternate universe where the Atlantis expedition did not go to Athos first and the Wraith are not immediately awakened, Sumner survives to continue to lead the mission. Sheppard has been brought along to serve the science team and is not considered by Sumner to be part of the chain of command, but rather one of Weir's support staff. He is registered as Latent/unknown, but designated as dormant as he hasn't manifested for either Guide or Sentinel despite several traumatic events in his past. Under Weir's guidance the expedition has reached out for alliances and trade but has been hindered in those goals when Sumner's blundering awakens the Wraith early (but not quite as early as in canon). Sheppard was sent out to pilot for an expedition to a site that was supposed to have a ZPM, but while there the team is ambushed. They fled through the gate to what was supposed to be a safe address, wind up in an unexpected place and find themselves captured. Sheppard has an extremely difficult choice to make to protect his team.

Summary
Best friends Dylan and Travis had it all figured out. They would both become Sentinels like their fathers, ace their way through the Centre’s rigorous training and they would both take on the world. Only, this doesn’t happen for Dylan. Instead of coming online as a powerful Sentinel, he suffers the humiliation of being a Guide. It devastates him and his family.
But not so for Travis. Travis is pleased at the new turn of the events, elated even, at the prospect that Dylan would be his Guide, his partner, his.
The sudden dizzying change in Dylan's circumstances and the possessiveness of his best friend scares Dylan enough to give everything up and just run. Run far away so he could pretend he was just like everyone else.

Airwolf is left alone for many years when String and Dom are in a car accident. Dom is killed and String in a coma for years. Caitlin keeps the power up as much as she can but is forced to abandon her work when suspicions rise. During her time alone, Airwolf develops into a sentient being, but goes dormant when the power dies. Almost 40 years later she is discovered by an amateur archeologist who wakes her up. Introductions during upgrades provide some back story and a charging battery is moved in, computer chips and further repairs are made and eventually Airwolf gets an overhaul at the kids' dad’s shop.
